Seeing What’s Possible

If you’re wondering if Sharon’s coaching might help you, let me tell you, she’s absolutely extraordinary! I was numb and paralyzed by my situation and the years kept going by. Sharon helped me see what was holding me back and helped me correct course. The growth I’ve been through with Sharon is truly remarkable. I never imagined the things we accomplished possible. I give her name out like candy! Forever grateful. (T.W.)

Finding a Way Forward

Sharon brings fresh air into stagnant situations. Like a Border Collie she gently nips and nudges until you find yourself moving in a new direction. I was at a crossroads in my life and needed help. I worked with Sharon for several months and at the end of that time I had made a major change. She helped me maneuver through, and overcome, many personal challenges. I will be forever grateful for her ability to listen and clearly communicate small steps that lead to big change. She is a compassionate, intelligent and supportive person who will lift your wings until you can fly on your own. (S.L.)

Standing at the Crossroads

Sharon was immediately responsive to my request for information. In the initial session, I knew I had found the right person to coach me. Sharon gets at the heart of issues and helps you clarify what needs to be done (and what doesn't need to be done). I was at a crossroads and after our sessions together, I feel that I will find a way through. Sharon is a gem and was a huge help to me. She helped me focus on what is important and was encouraging. She pointed out my strengths which helped me see myself in a better light. (N.T.)

Navigating Life Transitions

Sharon was there for me when I lost my decades-long career and had some major decisions to make. She was wise and calm and patient when I felt panicked. The best thing she did was to show me that I didn't have to jump right in and solve everything at once; that decisions could wait while I found my feet again; that this ending was really a beginning. She also coached me through some negotiations to get what I wanted and needed when my job ended. I'll be forever grateful.  (J.D.)

Beginning Again

When my life felt like a tumbled heap of tangled strands, Sharon helped me methodically pull each strand apart. She is such a gentle, disarming, and fun person and you really look forward to your next session and what she will help you discover. And coaching by phone meant I could be anywhere and still have a great conversation about how I could forge a new path. If you are looking for a voice of reason when your life seems unreasonable, I cannot recommend Sharon enough. (C.W.)

Inspiring Professional Growth

I met Sharon in the very first blushes of my career, as an enthusiastic (but inexperienced!) non-profit professional. Sharon partnered with our organization to support a strategic planning process that led to a near tripling of the size and scope of the agency, as well as an updated mission and vision that led to greater impact, accountability and inspiration. Her prowess was best leveraged to ensure that multiple teams worked in a unified way. The agency flourished in the years to come and has since doubled in size again. I am certain that Sharon’s guidance during an essential era of change was the long-term seed of a whole new chapter. Individually, Sharon applauded and made space for my fervor (and helped me manage and hone it to a skill). This permitted me to feel welcome and confident in my role. As a result, my career has continued to grow since this time – bringing multiple high-visibility, high-pressure projects, and opportunities. From statewide political campaigns, to multi-million-dollar partnerships – I regularly look back and think of Sharon’s early, and pivotal, role in the success of my career. (J.M.W.)

Developing Teams

I have worked with Sharon as a team coach and find her to be one of the clearest communicators I have ever met. She sees what’s going on at a deep level and she shares her perceptions and recommendations clearly, without judgment, and in the spirit of growth and cooperation. When we need a steady hand to guide and coach us, she’s the one we call. (J.C.)

Gaining Momentum

I used to wonder what the point of coaching was until I started working with Sharon. She helps me see the forest for the trees. My path always seems clearer after speaking with her, and I'm surprised at how much more momentum my life has now. (C.A.)

Positive Changes

Since I started working with you, I’ve made a lot of positive changes. It surprises me sometimes how much I’ve been motivated and active in my life. It feels so good, and I feel a lot of gratitude to you for your wonderful guidance. You have a kind, yet motivating way of encouraging and acknowledging me so I feel validated in where I am, and in my capacity, yet I also feel encouraged to push myself a bit and try things. Thank you so so much for your wonderful wisdom and positivity. You have made a difference in my life. (K.L.)

Becoming Confident

Coaching with Sharon has been one of the best experiences of my life. I always feel important, cared for and safe. She has keen insight and super practical strategies that work. She has helped me gain a ton of confidence, clarity and perspective on some very tough issues. Since working with Sharon, my relationships, my business and my attitude have all greatly improved. Thank you so very much, Sharon!  (A.B.)

Strengthening Leadership

I had the privilege of working with Sharon when the organization I led was going through immense change. Sharon's wisdom, experience, and supportive, calming demeanor helped me navigate the rough waters. I remember bursting into tears in a session and she helped me gain clarity and ground myself to take the next steps. Sharon also worked with our board of directors and other staff to conduct a community assessment and craft a new strategic plan for the organization. Everyone loved working with her. I would highly recommend Sharon — she's one of the best coaches I've encountered. (L.M.)

Caring for the Caregiver

When my less-than-40-years-old husband was diagnosed with advanced colon cancer, everything turned upside down. Sharon offered to support and coach me through this time recognizing that there were both tools and skills I needed to have in my belt to survive this experience in my life, and in our marriage. Our weekly calls became a lifeline. Both to get balanced support and perspective, but also to have guidance around how to prepare for the week ahead. Focus on determining the next thing you need to know. Understand that your thoughts are just that – not necessarily facts or premonitions. Find your safe spaces where you can decompress. And, look at what you can make choices about within your new boundaries, not what has been taken away. While I hope my husband remains well for the long run, I am clear that my strength and the fortitude of our marriage are both deeply tethered to Sharon’s guidance in a time that often assumes paralysis. We will never move on from cancer, but with Sharon’s help and expertise, we’ve been able to move forward. (J.W.)
